Local artist Evan Morrow Rogers’ large-scale works convey his interests in color theory, composition, movement, line and imagination.  Evan’s pieces most closely reflect Abstract Expressionism combined with Pop Art.  Utilizing found objects, hints of European Surrealism and his studies of pre-Columbian art, Evan is continually expanding his aesthetic horizons through his paintings.  Evan has traveled extensively throughout Mexico, Guatemala, Europe, Tunisia, Egypt and Israel, bringing the riches of exotic culture to his color palette.  Formerly residing in London and New York, art and music have also inspired his artistic directions.  Evan continually strives to communicate the Essence of Life through his art.

Elavated, Expansive and Irritable by Jason Zickler

Local artist Jason Zickler’s latest work is the complete organic synthesis of complex internal emotions combined with the physical act of painting.  The current group of work available includes a variety of physical pieces that express emotion through bold color and texture.  Jason’s style is one of “physicality” along with the likes of Jackson Pollock and the abstract expressionists of the 1950’s.  His work is collected everywhere from corporate collections to homes throughout the United States.  His work has also been showcased in galleries in New York, Los Angeles, Miami and throughout the Midwest.  His recent work, both big and bold, has been inspired by the vivid color, texture and beauty of Loreto, The Baja where, from 2007 until 2010, Jason had a studio/gallery.  Currently, Jason creates his unique paintings in his Indianapolis, Indiana studio.

The Skyline Club of Indianapolis is located on the 36th floor of the One America Building in downtown Indianapolis.  The Skyline Club is a distinguished, private dining club with membership consisting of professionals in Accounting, Education, Finance, Health care, Insurance, Law, Management, Medicine, Pharmaceuticals, Public Service, Real Estate and Retail.  Overlooking the heart of Indianapolis, and located just two blocks from the Circle Center Monument, the Skyline Club affords members the luxury of meeting friends and entertaining associates in comfortable surrounding while enjoying the finest food and personal service.  On January 7th the Skyline Club will welcome non-members.  However, members of the Skyline Club will be offered special pricing on the artwork to be shown at ARTBOX and the Skyline Club during both January First Friday events as well as throughout the month of January.
