Spanning the Midwest and Beyond

From Gallery Walls to Bold Solo Statements

Jason Zickler’s solo exhibitions have spanned the Midwest and beyond, with standout shows at the Skyline Club, Marta Hewett Gallery, and the Conrad Hotel.

From early color studies to large-format works layered in epoxy resin, Zickler’s solo shows give audiences a front-row seat to evolving textures, emotional energy, and bold use of space. Whether high above the city in Indianapolis or featured in contemporary spaces in Cincinnati and Chicago, Zickler’s solo work commands the room with its physicality and presence.

Spotlighted in Group Shows Across the Country

Zickler has contributed to curated group exhibitions in key cultural hubs, including Galerie Hertz and Swanson Contemporary in Louisville, Blackbird Gallery in Chicago, and even Art Basel Miami through Lurie & Kavachnina Gallery. It's Not Just Art Galleries

Media Coverage, Hotels & High-Profile Spaces

Zickler’s art hasn’t just lived in galleries—it’s been installed in luxury hotels, business clubs, and public spaces throughout Indianapolis and the Midwest. His solo exhibitions at the Conrad Hotel, Columbia Club, and the Skyline Club brought a fine art sensibility into places not typically known for showcasing contemporary work. These exhibits introduced new audiences to the tactile, high-gloss visual language he’s known for.

Cree – Todos los Colores: A Gallery of His Own

From 2007 to 2010, Zickler owned and curated Cree – Todos los colores, an independent gallery located in Loreto Bay, Baja Sur, Mexico. Cree was a living experiment in color, light, and connection—offering both locals and travelers a firsthand look at Zickler’s evolving work while creating space for community engagement and cultural exchange. The Baja landscape remains a recurring influence in his color palette to this day.

Building a Legacy Through Creative Momentum

With over 30 exhibitions and counting, Zickler’s career reflects a steady rhythm of creative output, experimentation, and exposure. From early shows like “Touch” at 4 Star Gallery to international appearances at Jadite Galleries in New York and Lurie & Kavachnina Gallery during Art Basel, he’s continuously pushed his medium forward. These past exhibitions lay the foundation for what’s next—bigger canvases, bolder materials, and deeper stories told through movement, texture, and shine.
